Ten Snacks + My Evil Plan

Let’s all share the food we’ve been stuffing our faces with lately.

And just FYI?  I’ve decided that instead of me getting skinnier, I’m just going to use this blog to introduce you all to new, delicious food, so you all get fat.  [Insert evil laugh here.]  No, just kidding.  We’re all perfect the way we are. [Insert clichéd "awww" here.]

Alright, my loves.  Here are ten of my current snack obsessions.

1. Muesli Fusion An-Ox

I kind of want to pour milk straight into the bag and eat it like that.  This stuff is too freaking amazing.  The An-Ox (antioxidant) flavor has cacao nibs, gogi berries, walnuts, and other delicious little additions.  Such good texture and flava flav.  I keep getting fun ideas for ways to use this, but then I just end up eating it plain with milk because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.  Ya hurr?

2. Fitmixer Clean Energy

This all-natural fruity little powder is the perfect pre-workout boost of energy.  Or at least I think it would be.  In all honesty, I haven’t worked out since Friday.  Oops.  Shit happens, okay?  But this has given me great energy for sitting on my bed and writing papers (aka watching Netflix).  Plus, it tastes really really good and that’s all that really matters. Oh! And it only has twenty calories per serving.  Hollllllla.

3. Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk

Really?  Like, really?  This exists?  I haven’t had chocolate milk in about 8,000 years, but I bought this with a coupon I got from Blend.  This is thick, chocolately, and creamy.  Just how I like it (dirrrrtyyyyy).  Really though.  I just want to open a carton and get the whole thing into my mouth (dirrrttyyyy).  Who doesn’t like dark, dark chocolate? (I just need to stop.)

4. Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

Well, we’ve already established that I love chocolate.  And we all know that chocolate + peanut butter is the universe’s way of making up for horrible things like jury duty and research papers and folding laundry.  Embrace it. This thing tastes like a real, natural version of a Reese’s.  It’s even better frozen.  Doooo this.  Now.  (Also, I realize that this isn’t really a snack.  Just go with me on this one.)

5. Katy’s Kettle Corn Popchips

I didn’t think I’d love these because I’m not the hugest kettle corn fan.  Um, really Carly?  These are salty and sweet and crunchy.  You really thought you wouldn’t love them?  Long story short, I’m now obsessed and I would like 10,000 bags of these at my doorstep.  Now accepting donations.

6. Nature Made VitaMelts Energy

These bad boys are packed with B12 for may-juh energy.  They kind of remind me of the berry-flavored Tums that I used to eat like candy as a kid.  I have to restrain myself from eating more than one per day.  They’re a little bit chalky, but totally yummy!  I’m glad I have two packs of them.  Energy for dayyyyys.

7. Detour Neapolitan Bars

Why have I never seen these before?!  I just about squealed when I got them in my Blend Swag Bag, and they totally lived up to the expectations.  Chewy, chocolately, and super filling!  I love protein bars disguised as dessert.  Or dessert disguised as protein bars.  Either way, I’m loving these.

8 & 9. Wildtree Wildly Blueberry Jam & Swanson Vitamins Coconut Oil

Let’s start with the jam.  It’s drippy, sweet, fresh-tasting, and super smooth.  It isn’t very seedy either, so I don’t end up with black seeds in my teeth all day long.  Also, all Wildtree products are preservative-free, so I don’t feel guilty about standing at the counter eating spoonfuls of this with peanut butter.

And now the coconut oil.  I’d never tried coconut oil before so I can’t offer any comparisons, but OMG this stuff is amazing.  It definitely has a coconut flavor, but it works so well in both sweet and savory dishes.  I’ve been enjoying a teaspoon of it melted over quinoa.  I can’t wait to try the whole magic shell thing with it!  Basically, you melt the coconut oil, pour it over something cold, and it hardens like magic shell.  Fackkkk yeah.

Toast

10. The Good Bean Sea Salt Chickpeas

You best believe I ate a whole bag of these.  Two servings my ass. These are super crunchy but not too crispy (if that makes any sense at all) and perfectly salted.  These taste super wholesome and the fiber + protein combination is super filling.  Happy tastebuds + happy tum = happy Carly.  Plus non-GMO (because we all totallllly understand what that means, right?), which is pretty fabulous.

The Good Bean

Okay, that’s all for now.  I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew (pun).  Or give you guys more than you can swallow (pun #2).  I want you guys to digest this information before I give you any more (pun #3).  For real though.  I have about five or six more fun foodie finds that I want to share, but I don’t want to bore your pretty little faces off.  Another time.  Plus, I’m in the middle of watching The Bachelorette which obviously requires my full attention.

What foods/snacks have you been loving lately?  Because I obviously need more things to be obsessed with…
